Rick Becker, Chairman

Rick is a senior executive with 35 years professional experience within the insurance and healthcare industries. Prior to co-founding Clarity Group, Inc., he was the Chairman and CEO of MMI Companies, Inc. from 1985 until the company was sold to The St. Paul Companies in 2000. Rick grew MMI from a small medical malpractice insurance company successor of two (2) offshore mutual insurance companies to a publicly traded organization that ranked in the top 10 US medical malpractice underwriters in 1999. Prior to MMI, Rick was President and CEO of Ideal Mutual, and was President and CEO of McDonough Caperton Employee Benefits, Inc. He also served as State Compensation Commissioner for the State of West Virginia and practiced law in Pennsylvania. Rick holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance and a Juris Doctor from West Virginia University.
