May 6 is National Nurses Day!

Did you know…

  • The 1st nursing school dates back to 250 B.C. and was located in India?
  • On Jan. 10th 1902, Ellen Dougherty became the 1st registered nurse in New Zealand and the world?
  • There are more nurses than any other workers in the health profession?
  • Florence Nightingale, the most famous nurse in modern history, was only a nurse for 3 years?

We at Clarity have 4 incredibly dedicated and hard working nurses on staff -- Debby, Heather A., Heather D. and Tom -- and we just couldn't let this week go by without telling them just how much we appreciate them! Here's to all you nurses out there, here and around the world! Thank you for all that you do and all that you have done to serve others! Everyone get out there and hug a nurse this week!

National Nurses Week starts on May 6th and ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale’s Birthday!
