November 20, 2008 -- Clarity Group announced today that its newest operating division, Clarity PSO, has been listed as a Patient Safety Organization by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) effective November 19, 2008. Patient Safety Organizations were created by the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act of 2005 (Patient Safety Act), and organizations must complete an application and filing process to be listed.
