Take for example The Kennedy Krieger Institute, an internationally recognized institution that provides inpatient and outpatient medical care, community services, and school-based programs across eight campuses for children and adolescents with learning disabilities, as well as disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and musculoskeletal system. When they began using our Healthcare SafetyZone® Portal patient safety and incident management software, they were still using paper-based methods to gather and report information. So of course they wanted to get away from that.
