You hear it everywhere because it is true – the world is writing a new “normal” amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. As the world continues to evolve, so too must the healthcare industry. Here at Clarity Group, Inc., we’ve responded by serving our clients with front-line providers in mind.

Continuous evolution and enhancement has always been an important part of our Healthcare SafetyZone® incident reporting system because it keeps us flexible and adaptive to the ever-changing needs of our clients. With regards to the current crisis, we have recently established two direct COVID-19 forms for patient, visitor, and employee cases. These forms, created with CDC recommendations and expertise from our clinical Clarity PSO team, help appropriately track COVID-19 suspected and confirmed cases, with additional opportunities for later follow up and analysis.

Our new Resource Burn Rate form is another example of us responding to a client need amidst this pandemic. This form has been designed specifically to track PPE, amongst other important resources, and its availability within facilities. This tool helps ensure that healthcare organizations are optimally equipped with enough PPE. And with our automatic notification features, any dwindling supply levels can trigger an alert to the relevant parties.

While our team at Clarity Group continues to adapt and innovate the Healthcare SafetyZone® system, its built-in flexibility has allowed us to rapidly serve our clients’ needs during this unique time. SafetyZone Flex-Fit™ reporting allows organizations to internally adapt their incident forms, event & sub-event types, workflow criteria, and review questions to dynamically respond to the challenges of healthcare.

All SafetyZone templates have been developed and evolved based on the experiences on our clients on the front lines, and we are always looking for opportunities to provide any additional resources to ensure patient safety. Reach out to us today to learn more!
